Your chance to win a Jana Reinhardt ethically handmade sterling silver hummingbird bracelet (worth £89)
Each bracelet is made to order by Sussex-based master-goldsmith Jana and cast in recycled silver, making it a great choice if sustainability is important to you. The fine chain measures 17cm and can be worn at a range of different lengths and the tiny hummingbird measures a dainty 1cm – it’s the perfect subtle piece that goes with everything that you will wear and wear.
Hummingbirds are believed to symbolise joy coming into your life and resilience – both things most of us will relate to! Making this piece a lovely wearable reminder to hang on in there, whatever challenges you face.
Founded in 2006, Jana Reinhardt jewellery is a husband-and-wife team of goldsmiths based in Sussex. They always use recycled precious metals, all their packaging is entirely plastic-free, and they offset the carbon output from jewellery making by planting a tree with Ecologi for every sale.
Every piece is made by hand – using the old methods of wax carving and fabrication, which is kinder to the environment than machine manufacture and makes every piece is unique.
Jana Reinhardt has also created several exclusive pieces intended to raise awareness and funds for charities that help animal welfare charities including The Sloth Conservation Foundation, OVAID, The Badger Trust and much more. They have also established partnerships with charities including NAWT and PETA. You can browse their full charity collection here: janareinhardt.com.
