All bases are covered. Quiet country escapes, lively parcs just perfect for active couples (especially those who take to pools like a duck to water!) and parcs that bring city sights within easy reach.
What they all share in common is the chance to enjoy each day your way. A leisurely breakfast on your decking, perhaps a few lengths of the pool, followed by an afternoon’s exploration of your new neighbourhood. Beach snooze, forest cycle, lake cruise or shop browse? Your holiday, your call.
Take a look at five of their all-new parcs for 2018, and start picturing your perfect start to the new year…
Canyelles Costa Blanca
This beautifully landscaped, terraced parc enjoys a privileged position. This is a low-key spot, close to a sandy cove, and is the perfect base for days spent exploring the coast. The best of the Costa Brava is on your doorstep: visit the lively resort of Lloret de Mar for a blast of traditional Spanish sun’n’fun, take a trip to cultural capital Barcelona for stylish shopping, or just beach-hop your way down the coast until you find your favourite cove. We don’t think it will take very long.
Palmyre Loisirs Gironde
The Gironde’s coastline is a remarkable stretch of pure, natural drama. Terrific beaches, towering dunes and the vineyards of the Médoc peninsula all vie for your attention. Visit charming Soulac-Sur-Me, one of the most popular Médoc resorts, with a terrific food market. Or laze your days around the parc’s fantastic pool complex. From its Californian beach to the lazy river, this is a parc for those who love to stretch out and relax in the southern French sun.
Zaton Holiday Resort Croatia
Fabulous pools and a tempting coastline await at this spectacular Croatian resort, with facilities to spare. Watersports lovers will be thrilled – with the parc’s own lagoon and warm clear waters offering all manner of ways to soak up the fun, and the sun, in this delightful corner of the eastern Adriatic. Not every Croatian resort enjoys a sandy beach – Zaton does, and a fine one too. The islands of the Kornati National Park offer a myriad anchorages for a picnic on a deserted beach, too.
La Masia Costa Brava
Comfortable, spacious and well-managed, La Masia is a firm favourite with many couples who return year after year. They come for the terrific pools surrounded by palm trees, the warm welcome, and the friendly bars and restaurants. You’ll love the location too: at the southernmost tip of the Costa Brava. Nearby Blanes is a likeable, authentic Spanish coastal town, with world-class restaurants and immaculate beaches.
Vigna Sul Mar Italian Adriatic
Three pools cover all the bases here, alongside the sunny Adriatic Riviera. At the southern edge of the Venetian Lagoon the sands are broad, soft and level: and the water deliciously warm and inviting. Venice is temptingly within reach for day trips, too – take a water taxi to this magical floating city. Try to visit early in the morning, and spend time on the hauntingly beautiful island of Torcello – blissfully away from the madding crowds.
