Make yourself at home

Great outdoors, greater indoors. That’s the Eurocamp promise. So why compromise on comfort when you can have it all?

Couple in the poolIf holidays in the great outdoors have always appealed, but the thought of toughing it out under canvas has always been the sticking point, maybe it’s time to look again. Time to take a fresh look at how the spirit of adventure and exploration doesn’t have to mean unfurling a ground sheet and praying to the rain gods. Because, with Eurocamp, outdoor-loving types can enjoy lungfuls of fresh air, and a great night’s sleep – guaranteed.

That’s because, these days, Europe’s leading provider of holidays where nature is never too far away promises to keep you cossetted and comfortable at day’s end too.

With over 190 parcs scattered temptingly across Europe – from coast and cove to country and city – Eurocamp brings the best bits of our continent within everyone’s grasp: and you don’t need to be Ray Mears, and definitely not Bear Grylls, to experience it all. In fact, you can start your daily exploits with a lovely cup of tea on your decking, and end them with a G&T and a BBQ as the sun sets. Now, ask yourself, why haven’t you unleashed your spirit of adventure sooner?

At the top of the pile, when it comes to luxury, is Eurocamp’s newest recruit – the sleek and ever-so-stylish Aspect. Based on a rugged log-cabin, but equipped to a far higher standard than your regular bolt hole in the woods, the Aspect features a generous outside-inside vibe, with covered decking, light-filled lounge with squishy sofas, two or three bedrooms (great for groups of friends) ensuite washrooms with gloriously hot showers, and a fully fitted kitchen. Hotel rooms don’t even come close when it comes to space to stretch out and relax.

Take a closer look at their Avants too. With its innovatively designed living space, both inside and out, Avants bring living to a new level. And they’re not short of the all-important finishing touches, too: fitted kitchens, dining areas, full-sized beds and good sized bathrooms. Add that inviting decking area, with BBQ, for long, leisurely evenings enjoying a glass of the local red (or white) and suddenly, this camping lark doesn’t seem too bad, does it?

And when it comes to locations, Eurocamp’s had plenty of time to get it right. We love their string of parcs alongside the Venetian Riviera – such as Marina di Venezia – brining day trips to Venice comfortably close. There’s a smashing parc tucked into the Tuscan countryside, next to the delightful hilltop town of Sarteano (Parco Delle Piscine), or head to the sultry south of France, and the chic spa-resort of Le Brasilia, or the glorious pool complex of Domaine des Naiades, alongside the French Riviera’s pretty marina of Port Grimaud.

Wherever you go, of course, it’s nice to look forward to a comfy place to rest, refuel and recharge each day. And, with Eurocamp, holiday living is taken to the next level.
