Planning an African holiday is by no means an easy task. Boasting remote tropical beaches, sprawling deserts, lush mountains, thundering waterfalls, and majestic wildlife; the African continent offers a vast array spellbinding attractions. So how do you decide what to do?

The most important aspect to consider is what you want from your holiday. Do you want a rustic and authentic safari experience or are you after a lavish and sumptuous experience? Would a safari and beach combination be ideal, or would you prefer to combine a first class safari with a city escape? Whatever your requirements, we will create a tailor-made quote for your perfect holiday.
If a combination of safari and beach is your idea of heaven then Tanzania is perfect for you. Tanzania is home to some of the best game viewing areas in Africa: The world famous Serengeti National Park sees the world’s most famous wildlife spectacle take place – Great Migration. The Serengeti is also conveniently located a short distance from the Ngorongoro Crater. This World Heritage Site has one of the highest concentrations of the ‘Big 5’ in Africa making it a safari enthusiasts dream. After an unforgettable Tanzania safari, the perfect place for some rest and relaxation is Zanzibar. Located only a short twenty-minute flight from Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar is a paradise of palm trees, crystal clear water and glistening white beaches.
The most luxurious and intimate safaris occur in Botswana. Their motto of high quality and low quantity means that your safari experience will be hard to match. There is no mass tourism here. Nowhere on earth compares to the Okavango Delta, especially when the flood waters are high when camps become marooned on little islands and water-based activities allow you to hear the grunts of hippos and the singing of bee-eaters.
The best walking safaris in Africa are taken in either Zambia or Zimbabwe. Untamed, wild and with few visitors, these two countries offer luxurious and authentic safaris. Mana Pools (recently featured on BBC’s Dynasties) and South Luangwa are both brilliant places for walking safaris with expert guides who will take you into the heart of the wilderness. There is also the magnificent Victoria Falls (accessible from both countries) which is not to be missed if you are in the area.
If however you prefer the hustle and bustle of a city, but still want an unforgettable safari experience then South Africa is the perfect choice. With hundreds of options to choose from, you cannot go wrong with a combination of Kruger and Cape Town. The Greater Kruger has some of the best camps and wildlife viewing in the world; it is renowned for its amazing leopard sightings and extremely luxurious lodges. Cape Town is a must if you are in South Africa; a vibrant city that offers a perfect mix of delicious food, exciting attractions and beautiful scenery.
