The Tomorrow War – trailer

Futuristic actioner The Tomorrow War is available to stream from 2nd July.

In The Tomorrow War, the arrival of time travelling soldiers from the year 2051 sets the world in a spin with the message they deliver. Thirty years in the future, an invasion by alien beings has taken place and mankind is on the wrong end of an extinction level event.

The only hope for survival is our species is to conscript people from the present to jump forward into the future war.

Among those chosen to fight is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt), who also happens to be ex military and is pretty good at gun play.

There’s the usual soapy backstory of saving the world for his young daughter etc, but events chug along at a fair clip after Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (JK Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet.

The Tomorrow War is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video from July 2 2021.
